"I'm feeding my child to the wolves." -- Patrick

Page note: Don't be alarmed by the link in the upper left-hand corner called News and New Media. No, my web skills haven't regressed or anything.... (not that I had many to begin with). I'm taking a class on basic web design, so we're required to have a link to it on our main university-provided page. It won't be very interesting, so I don't recommend that you check it out, unless you're extremely, extremely bored.

Some advice: I've been mentally collecting and treasuring encouraging advice about graduation. From my old editor, Susan: "Don't take the first job offer that comes along just so you can say you have a job. I did that, and ended up in South Florida! Bad idea." From Sarah Z., who knows she wants to stay in Chicago: "It's all going to work out. It just is. Deep breath. It always does... " From Mary Schmich, Tribune columnist: "Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. The most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives. Some of the most interesting 40-year-olds I know still don't."

Cool thing: Ran into my boyfriend and my best friend studying at the same table in the coffee shop down the street. Awwww... everyone's getting along.
